Broncos-Bucs Trade: Denver’s Out Of The First Round

The Denver Broncos have traded out of the first round completely. First, it was a trade with the New England Patriots, which sent them from the 25th to the 31st pick in exchange for an extra third-round pick. And now the Broncos have traded back again, this time moving out of the first round altogether.

The Broncos' trade partner is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who gave up the 36th and 101st overall picks in order to move up. The Buccaneers already had extra picks after trading earlier in the draft with the Jacksonville Jaguars, so they could afford to be aggressive.

The Broncos now enter day two of the NFL draft with an extra second- and third-round pick.
