2012 NFL Draft Results: Georgia OT Cordy Glenn Selected By Bills With 41st Pick

With the 41st pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. Glenn is rated as the fourth-best prospect at his position, and No. 25 player overall according to Mocking The Draft's rankings.

Matthew Fairburn praised Glenn’s physical tools, but mentioned that the 6’5, 348-pound prospect may be a much better fit for guard at the next level unless he clears up some technical issues

Strength: Cordy Glenn's strength is a big reason why he is considered a first round prospect. He is powerful at the point of attack and is especially strong in his lower body. He is a powerful blocker in tight areas.

Technique: As previously mentioned, Glenn is not a natural knee bender and gets too upright when run blocking. He relies a lot on his physical attributes, which while solid, are not enough to consistently hold off NFL pass rushers. Glenn has strong hands in pass protection as well.

In the first round, the Bills selected cornerback Stephon Gilmore
