With the 66th overall pick in the 3rd round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected former Central Florida Knights cornerback Josh Robinson. Robinson is the sixth-ranked cornerback in the draft, according to Mocking The Draft's rankings
2012 NFL Draft Results: UCF CB Josh Robinson Selected By Minnesota Vikings With 66th Overall Pick

In his rookie season with the Knights in 2009, Robinson earned Freshman All-American honors. The junior had a tremendous season in 2011, being voted onto the All-Conference-USA First Team. He started every game of the season at cornerback, recording 48 tackles, including 34 solo tackles. Robinson also broke up 15 passes and grabbed two interceptions, one of which he ran back for a pick-six.
He also flashed his skills as a special teams kick returner in 2011, returning seven punts for 51 yards and four kickoffs for 94 yards. That versatility may just earn him a starting job in 2012.
Robinson joins first rounders OT Matt Kalil and S Harrison Smith on the Vikings.
