NFL Draft Grades: NFC North Teams All Do Well In 1st Round (VIDEO)

In the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft on Thursday, the four teams in the NFC North all emerged from their initial selections looking pretty good. The Minnesota Vikings came away with two first-round picks, beefing up both their offensive line (as expected) and their defense (which was a nice surprise for Vikings fans).

The Lions also added to their O-line, as they picked up Riley Reiff, who will be tasked with keeping quarterback Matthew Stafford healthy over the next several years. The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers both added outside linebackers who are expected to perform well at the NFL level. In all, the NFC North may have done the best in the league for a single division in Round 1.
