NFL Draft 2012: Courtney Upshaw Should Be Picked Early In Round 2

The Baltimore Ravens traded out of the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft and now find themselves drafting 35th in the second round. Several reports have linked them to Alabama LB Courtney Upshaw, one of the best players still available in the draft. Many had him rated as a first-round pick, so he'd be considered good value there.

If the Ravens do hope to draft him, they'll be hoping he slips past the St. Louis Rams (33) and Indianapolis Colts (34th).

SB Nation's Round 2 mock draft had Upshaw going 38th to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mocking The Draft has him as the 11th overall prospect in the draft, by far the best available player. He's not expected to stay on the board very long, whoever takes him.
