Jets-Seahawks Trade: New York Moves Up In Round 2

The New York Jets have traded up with the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. The Jets now own the 43rd overall pick in the draft, which is the 11th pick in the second round. The Seahawks now own the 47th overall pick in the draft. The Jets gave up the 154th and 232nd picks in the draft to move up.

The target is Stephen Hill, wide receiver out of Georgia Tech.

The Jets have had one pick thus far in the draft, picking up North Carolina DE Quinton Coples with the 16th overall pick in the first round. They were also rumored to be interested in trading up to select Trent Richardson, but that was nearly impossible considering the cost to move up from No. 16.

The Jets are one of the most active trading teams so it’s no surprise that they’re moving up.
