The world champion New York Giants did not have many needs entering the 2012 NFL Draft, but they added some depth to the backfield in Round 1, selecting running back David Wilson. They added six more prospects over the next two days and continued signing undrafted free agents on Saturday evening.
Giants Sign Undrafted Safety Janzen Jackson, According To Reports
One potential undrafted signing who has a shot to make the team is defensive back Janzen Jackson. The McNeese State safety had major college talent, starting at Tennessee as a true freshman and sophomore. He was released from the team just before the 2011 season and immediately joined McNeese State. He’s an elite athlete who can certainly make an impression on Tom Coughlin’s coaching staff.
