Bears Undrafted Free Agent Signings Announced

Lists of undrafted rookie free agent signings continue to roll in following the completion of the 2012 NFL Draft this past weekend. The Chicago Bears signed 11 players after picking up six prospects during the allotted seven rounds of the draft. Among the names, offensive tackle James Brown should stand out the most. The 6'3, 307-pound prospect out of Troy graded out as high as the 2nd round. While some believe he projects better at guard, Brown earned high praise for his athleticism and footwork. Here's what Mocking The Draft had to say:

Strengths: Nice athleticism and a solid frame alone will get Brown a look in the NFL. He has light feet and moves around to block against speed edge rushers. Knows how to read angles and drive defenders out of the play.

Weaknesses: Is behind developmentally in the technical areas of his game. Plays with his arms low and doesn’t get good leverage. Needs to get stronger.

You can check out all of the Bears’ free agent signings below:

Alvester Alexander, RB Wyoming

James Brown, OT, Troy

Ronnie Cameron, DT, Old Dominion
