The New York Giants and their fans are still basking in the glow of their big win at Super Bowl XLVI just a few weeks ago, but the offseason keeps rolling along. Free agency arrives on March 13 and there are some big decisions ahead for the team as it regroups to defend its title next season. The latest news reveals that the Giants may find themselves kicking off the 2012 season without one of their key offensive components.
Giants Free Agency 2012: Mario Manningham Is On His Way Out
The New York Giants will have plenty of work to do in the offseason. As free agency approaches on March 13, it appears that at least one key player may be testing the open market.

Pro Football Talk reported on Friday morning that, according to a league source, the Giants have not made any progress regarding a new deal with wide receiver Mario Manningham. All indications are that Manningham will enter free agency on March 13.
Manningham has been with the Giants his entire pro career, since being drafted in the third round by the team in 2008. In four seasons, he has accumulated 2,315 receiving yards on 160 receptions, with 18 touchdowns. His clutch catch down the sideline in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLVI proved to be a key play on what was ultimately the winning drive.
