Free Agent Peyton Manning Is Done Visiting Teams, According To Report

Peyton Manning hasn't yet made a decision on his next team, but the free agency tour is over. Manning will not make anymore visits, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. This leaves the official visit count at two -- Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals. Those two teams also appear to be the front-runners. ESPN is calling the Broncos favorites with the Cardinals still in contention.

That Manning hasn't visited other teams, like the Miami Dolphins, doesn't necessarily mean they're out. As Schefter pointed out on SportsCenter, Manning played in two Super Bowls in Miami. He knows their facilities. So, from what it sounds like, you can't totally rule out the Dolphins.

The San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans were floated as two teams that could possibly get involved. Titans owner Bud Adams made it clear that he wanted his team to pursue Manning. The Chiefs and Seahawks were also reportedly interested in Manning, but ESPN and the Denver Post report that neither are still in the running.

Things can change, but it appears the Manning pursuit is down to the Broncos and Cardinals, with the Dolphins hoping for a late push.

Manning’s decision isn’t expected before Tuesday, the start of free agency.
