The Buffalo Bills have set a Monday morning press conference, which most people think is to announce a contract extension with receiver Stevie Johnson. ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that the two sides agreed on a five-year contract to keep Johnson in Buffalo.

A report on Sunday night said the two sides were close. The Bills wanted to keep Johnson, and he wanted to stay in Buffalo. Things like this usually work out when both sides want a deal done.
Johnson is one of the few playmakers on offense for the Bills. He has more than 1,000 yards in each of the last two seasons and at age 25 he’s still young, which means more good years should be coming.
The Bills indicated last week that the franchise tag was still a possibility if they could not reach an agreement with Johnson. The tag would have paid him about $9.5 million on a one-year deal.
