Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012: LMFAO, Cee Lo Green To Join Madonna

The 2012 Super Bowl halftime show has been a star-studded affair for years now, seeming to alternate between classic acts like Bruce Springsteen or The Who and contemporary artists joined by a slew of guests. This year’s show appears to be somewhere between the two. The announced headliner for the event is pop icon Madonna (SB Nation originally broke that story in early October), but it now appears that she will have plenty of guests in tow.

According to DamnAthony at Vibe.com, Madonna is scheduled to be joined at the halftime show by Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., who appear on her new single, “Gimme All Your Luvin.” Now the early word is that those performers will also be joined by current pop darlings LMFAO, which was confirmed by their label head Will.i.am in a recent interview.

Cee Lo Green has also reportedly been rehearsing with Madonna in New York City in preparation for the Super Bowl. If this lineup proves to be true, it will be quite the star-studded concert of popular 2012 pop acts. And Madonna will be there, too!
