2012 Super Bowl Prop Bets: Who Will Score First Touchdown Of The Game?

The New York Giants had to go through pretty stiff competition on the way to the 2012 Super Bowl, but it'll all culminate on Sunday afternoon when they meet the New England Patriots in Indianapolis. Quite a few exciting things are expected to happen and, luckily, the betting industry is on top of nearly all of them.

Bovada has a very large listing of all of the amazing prop bets available for the Super Bowl, and while some of them might be more intriguing -- Will Kelly Clarkson’s belly show while she sings the National Anthem? -- the best bet is probably relating to which player will score the first touchdown of the game.

The odds on favorite as it stands today, according to Bovada, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski as there's an 18 percent chance he picks up the first touchdown of the game. On the other end of the spectrum, D.J. Ware is listed with the worst odds of the 20 players with 50-to-1 odds that he'll be able to score the game's first touchdown.
