2012 Super Bowl: Brandon Spikes’ Suit Is Very Pink

Via Patriots wide receiver Britt Davis, we have learned that Brandon Spikes likes his suits like Lil Wayne likes his Sprite. (Some NSFW language, unless where you work is safe for largely clean Lil Wayne rhymes, in which case: I am referring to "I like my Sprite Easter pink.")

The suit’s great, of course, as is the picture showing half of the Patriots roster getting photographic proof of a burly linebacker who can occasionally resemble Predator’s titular character, but the best thing about all of this is clearly Davis’ “since high school” note in his tweet. If Spikes has been donning pink suits with regularity since high school, he’s certainly the sort of confident guy many coaches would want on their team.

Also, given the laughs that Spikes’ molasses-style 40 time drew before the 2010 NFL Draft, I think it’s safe to say that the big guy is comfortable standing out for what should theoretically be the wrong reasons.
