A Super Bowl Prop Bets Contest, Free And Full Of Prizes

Get ready for Super Bowl 46 with a look at some of the better prop bets on the board, and a free online contest that offers cash and other prizes to all who enter. All content comes courtesy of SBNation’s partners at OddsShark.com.

Super Bowl XLVI is shaping up to be the most-gambled on Super Bowl in years with Vegas expecting more than $100 million in wagers, and a good chunk of that money rolling in on longshot prop bets.

While betting some crazy Super Bowl props like the coin toss or whether Kelly Clarkson’s belly button will be viewable while she sings the national anthem are for fun, a free contest offers cash, prizes and bonuses.

It’s called ProperBowl.com, with the tagline of ‘A game this big deserves a proper contest.’ The ‘properbowl’ is also a play on words for a props contest and there are 25 questions to answer and $3,500 up for grabs. In fact, the first 100 players to sign up for the game get a free $10 to bet on the game courtesy of the contest’s sponsor.

It starts with the coin toss and the fact the NFC has won 14 in a row means the Patriots are actually an underdog on this prop. You can also pick ‘heads’ or ‘tails’ to get the game rolling.

The first coach’s challenge, first punt, first scoring play highlight some of the questions that will be answered early in the contest between the Giants and Patriots. Total passing yards and rushing yards will complete the answers and you need to be at your fantasy handicapping best to nail these questions. Check out the full list of questions and scoring option below, then check out the Super Bowl contest page.
