Eli Manning, Tom Brady Set Super Bowl Records

Super XLVI has come and gone with the New York Giants once again besting the New England Patriots on another late game touchdown drive. The game saw both quarterbacks Eli Manning and Tom Brady have really good games with Manning winning another Super Bowl MVP. They were so good however, that the quarterbacks were setting records.

Eli has the most completions to start a Super Bowl game with nine. Brady has the most consecutive completions in Super Bowl history with 16. Brady also is the career Super Bowl leader in attempts (197), completions (127), and yards (1,277)

Aside from those records, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin becomes the oldest NFL head coach to win a Super Bowl at the age of 65. Giants punter Steve Weatherford also set a Super Bowl record by setting down three punts down inside the 10-yard line, the most in a single game.
