Tom Coughlin Won’t Retire After Super Bowl; Coach Plans To Return To Giants In 2012

The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots winning Super Bowl XLVI and their coach, Tom Coughlin, becomes the oldest coach (65) in NFL history to win a Super Bowl title. Coughlin is the oldest coach in the league but he's now won two Super Bowls in the last four years.

So will Coughlin ride off into the sunset after this Super Bowl win, a la John Elway?

Nope.

Coughlin told reporters at his post-Super Bowl press conference on Monday morning that he plans to return to the team in 2012. And, really, why wouldn't he? The Giants are still a relatively young team, they'll get a lot of injured players back and Eli Manning is only 31 years old. It's not exactly far-fetched anymore to think the Giants could win another one.
