All is not lost, hockey fans. We’ve got a group of scrappy kids that are here to give you a hockey fix in your time of need. The AHL has some of the NHL’s young stars on display. 12 of the teams take to the ice on Sunday while everyone else is watching football.

The American Hockey League kicked off it’s season this weekend with the most talented group of minor leaguers seen since, well, the last lockout. On the docket for Sunday, Oct. 13 are six games featuring some of the NHL’s current and future stars.
