Twenty-five years ago, the Giants and Cardinals met for the right to lose to the 85-win Minnesota Twins in the World Series. Heading into Game 6 on that occasion, the positions were the opposite of what we find in 2012. That time, the Giants were up three games to two, but stopped scoring in the fifth inning of Game 5. The Cards then registered two shutouts, the second of which was crafted by this man, Danny Cox -- albeit on eight hits.
