Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert's status for next Sunday's game at the Green Bay Packers could be in doubt, as the second-year player may have a shoulder issue. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported on SportsCenter Monday that the MRI on Gabbert's shoulder is being sent to renowned sports orthopedist Dr. James Andrews.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert had an MRI on his shoulder, and it is reportedly being sent to Dr. James Andrews.

Gabbert suffered the injury Sunday during Jacksonville's 26-23 loss at the Oakland Raiders. He tried to duck under a hit and landed awkwardly on his left (non-throwing) shoulder. Gabbert spent the rest of the game on the sideline with his arm in a sling. Jacksonville team doctors are concerned that his injury may be an issue with the labrum.
Gabbert completed 8-of-12 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game. Backup Chad Henne came on in relief and connected on 9-of-20 passes for 71 yards. If Gabbert can't go against the Packers, head coach Mike Mularkey says Henne will get the start.
Gabbert has completed 55.7 percent of his passes for 906 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions this season.
