Okay so first things first: this picture is not from Thursday. And it is not from Wednesday night, when Pablo Sandoval hit the first two home runs of his three-homer World Series performance off of Justin Verlander.
Justin Verlander and the definitely not real Pablo Sandoval shirt
Justin Verlander was roughed up by Pablo Sandoval on Wednesday. Did he already admit ownage prior to that?

In fact, we’re not even sure this picture is real at all. It comes to us courtesy of Michael Reyes.
The picture appears to have been taken at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago. Sandoval hit a first-inning, bases-clearing triple off of Verlander in the 2012 All-Star Game in Kansas City, so it’s possible Verlander was being a great sport about the All-Star Game during a visit to Chicago in the second half of the season. The Tigers played at U.S. Cellular in September, so it’s plausible this could be the real deal.
Of course, Sandoval’s career record against Verlander now reads as follows: 3-for-3, with two home runs, a triple and six RBI. Verlander may not be SUCH a good sport this time around.
What do you all think? Real or fake?
Edit: Nope, Photoshopped
