Manager Bruce Bochy of the San Francisco Giants put a lineup on the field for Game 1 that scored eight runs. Apparently not wanting to mess with success, the same lineup will serve the Giants for Game 2 (* indicates lefthanded hitter, # indicates switch-hitter):

This lineup will be facing Tigers righthander Doug Fister, who has never faced the Giants. In fact, Fister has faced just one player on the Giants' postseason roster -- Scutaro, from his time in the American League. Scutaro is 1-for-11 against Fister with two walks. So this sort of preview has little or no predictive value.
Instead, I’ll tell you a bit about Bumgarner as a hitter -- he’s one of those unusual lefthanders who bats righthanded. Sandy Koufax was perhaps the most famous one, though Koufax was a terrible hitter. Bumgarner can hit, a little: he hit two home runs during the 2012 regular season, though he struck out 25 times in 68 at-bats and has been 0-for-2 (both strikeouts) so far this postseason.
