It was a rough afternoon for the Cincinnati Bengals. Their normally stout defense could not get to a rookie quarterback playing on the road and Andy Dalton was intercepted twice in the 17-13 home loss to the Miami Dolphins. Cincinnati now heads north for their second of two games against the Browns with a ton of questions:
Dolphins Vs. Bengals, Week 5: Cincy Jungle Reaction
A home loss to the Miami Dolphins frustrates SB Nation’s Cincy Jungle.

But then it wasn’t the defense that highlighted such an epic afternoon of disgust. As a unit the offense converted only two of 14 third down opportunities and at one point went punt, fumble, punt, interception, punt and punt between scores. And during the fourth quarter, while within a score to take the lead, the offense went punt, missed field goal and interception.
Cincinnati could only gain 80 yards on the ground as it was forced to play from behind for three quarters. Mike Nugent hit a pair of first-quarter field goals, but one was a 24-yarder that was kicked when the Bengals had the ball inside the five-yard line. All in all, it was a day of missed opportunities for Cincinnati.
