The highlight of Friday’s college hockey schedule comes in Grand Forks, North Dakota, when the fifth-ranked North Dakota Fighting Sioux host the No. 12 Boston University Terriers. UND is 2-1-1 on the young season, while Boston enters the weekend at 3-1-0.

Elsewhere, No. 7 Notre Dame plays host to the eleventh-ranked Western Michigan Mustangs. The Irish have the country’s best record at 5-1, while Western Michigan is 3-1. The No. 8 Michigan Wolverines travel to the Upper Peninsula, where the No. 20 Northern Michigan Wildcats wait. Undefeated and third-ranked Denver hosts No. 18 St. Cloud State. No. 19 Ferris State will face No. 4 Miami in Big Rapids.
The nation’s top-ranked team, Boston College, travels to face the Black Bears of Maine. Second-ranked Minnesota hosts in-state rival Minnesota State. Cornell, which is ranked sixth and undefeated in two games so far, travels just over 60 miles to face Colgate.
