John Madden Loves Turkey

And tradition and football and the Little Giants.

Hey, looky here, it’s John Madden on NBC before the Patriots-Jets game. He’s back with turkey because turkey is tradition and football is turkey and turkey is duck is chicken is food is Thanksgiving.

It’s been too long since we’ve seen Madden associated with a broadcast in a form not related to a video game, so Madden’s presence was like seeing an uncle you haven’t seen in awhile during the holidays.

Just wish he’d do a guest spot in the booth instead of having to deal with smarmy Cris Collinsworth after he got a couple glasses of port wine in him. It would make up for the fact that we had to watch the New York Jets’ offense and a gluttony of Tim Tebow references after stuffing our faces with ungodly amounts of food and drink.
