Niners QB Colin Kaepernick scores on 7-yard TD run

A little bit of controversy ensued when Alex Smith was annouced as healthy, but Colin Kaepernick was named the starter, but Niners fans seemed to be largely okay with the decision.

Kaepernick is more athletic, and can make throws that Smith can't, but he is a rookie leading a team that is trying to stake its claim as the best in the NFC. Seems like San Francisco is taking a chance, but early in its contest with the Saints, Kaepernick showed what he can do with his legs.
