Bomani & Jones takes Ndamukong Suh to task
It’s time for the NFL to put a stop to Ndamukong Suh’s ways.
But if the league wants to drop the bomb on Ndamukong Suh, they have our blessing. And, if they don't, they'll receive our scorn.
Suh’s actions weren’t just unsportsmanlike. They were representative of a societal malady that much be corrected: insufficient daddying. I mean, how could a man ever reach Suh’s age without understanding that hitting a man in the balls is unforgivable? How could he allow it to happen by accident without, immediately, being overwhelmed with the sort of shame and remorse that force a man to profusely apologize for such an act? Seriously, how was he raised where he’s out here kicking people in the kids?
So yeah, we’re here to explain why we won’t complain if the NFL suspends Suh for a game ... or 10. Roger Goodell’s all about protecting the shield? Well, now it’s time for the shield to protect the kids, both born and unborn.
