Jason Babin was let go by the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday, causing waves in many NFL circles. It was thought that a few contenders might take a look at him, but Jason La Confora is reporting that the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts won't be among them.
Falcons, Ravens don’t plan to claim Jason Babin, according to report
It appears some contender don’t have interest in the services of Jason Babin.

It’s not a complete surprise with Indianapolis considering the Colts now play a 3-4. Babin is clearly a defensive end that wouldn’t convert well into an outside linebacker, so the fit isn’t good.
Atlanta could certainly use another presence up front, but it appears to be content with the personnel already in tow. Baltimore also might need some shoring up with its porous defense, but salary cap issues have the Ravens hamstrung.
Babin turned out to be a one-year wonder for Philadelphia. In 2011, he had one of the great all-time years for a defensive end with 18 sacks. This season, Babin has only 5.5 sacks in 11 games.
Over the entirety of his career, Babin has only reached double-digits in sacks twice. Once in the aforementioned 2011 season, and the year before with the Tennessee Titans when he registered 12.5.
