Notre Dame’s undefeated season and championship dreams are still intact. The No. 3 team in the nation survived a scare to Pittsburgh, which was able to mount a 17-6 lead but was unable to keep the Irish offense at bay in the fourth quarter and overtime. Everett Golson, after being benched in favor of Tommy Rees at halftime, brought Notre Dame back with two late touchdowns and the clinching QB sneak in overtime.
