Cardinals vs. Packers final score: Green Bay defeats Arizona, 31-17

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for four touchdowns, and the Green Bay Packers picked up a 31-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

The Green Bay Packers used a strong passing attack to hand the Arizona Cardinals their fifth straight loss, this one by a final score of 31-17.

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for four touchdowns, and the Packers were in control of the game for most of the day. Arizona tied things up at 7-7 early in the second quarter, but Green Bay scored 17 unanswered points and never looked back.

Fantasy studs and duds

Rodgers put up another gem of a fantasy performance, throwing for 216 yards to go with four touchdowns and an interception. He also added 36 rushing yards on the day.

A host of wide receivers put up big numbers -- Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald finished with 74 yards and a touchdown on a 31-yard catch and run.

Green Bay receiver Tom Crabtree had just one reception, but he made it count -- a 72 yard touchdown in the third quarter that extended the Packers' lead. Randall Cobb, meanwhile, pulled in two touchdowns to go with 37 receiving yards and 29 rushing yards.

A couple of Packers receivers were unable to get in on the action though, as Donald Driver recorded just one catch for ten yards and Jermichael Finley had just six yards of his own.

Did they cover?

Green Bay entered today’s contest as 10.5 point favorites, meaning their 14-point victory was enough to cover the spread.

What’s next?

The Packers will have a bye week before taking on the Detroit Lions on Nov. 18. The Cardinals also have a bye week followed by a road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
