With the win, the Jazz moved to 2-3 on the season, including a 2-0 record at home, while Los Angeles fell to 1-4 overall and 0-2 on the road.

Delfino led the Rockets in scoring with 19 points off the bench, while Patterson added 18 points on 8-13 shooting.

But the extra five minutes were decisively in Boston’s favor, as it outscored Washington, 12-4.

Things seemed to be going in the direction of a Wizards win as they hit halftime with a 42-37 lead. However, Washington was outscored 30-22 in the third quarter and lost control of the game.

Miami led almost the entire way through, opening up a nine-point lead at halftime before blowing things open in the third quarter. The Heat outscored Brooklyn 29-15 in the third and cruised the rest of the way.

Brooklyn dropped to 1-2 on the season.

Needless to say, Doc was happy with the result, but he skipped the rest of the movie to find out for himself.

“So I didn’t see the end of ‘Argo’ and it was terrific,” Rivers said. “I have to go pay again, and if you know me that really pisses me off. So, I have to go twice.”
