The Layfe of Brayan

Today the Tigers announced the signing of Brayan Pena as a backup catcher. He'll go well with relief pitcher Brayan Villarreal, mostly because they are the only two Brayans in Major League history. Together at last.

According to Baseball-Reference there are four other Brayans in minor leagues, all who played rookie ball last year. Which means they’re several years away from being acquired by Detroit.
