Arian Foster was noticeably absent from the Houston Texans loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Leaving in the third quarter, the in-game update diagnosed Foster as 'feeling ill', though post-game it was revealed that the star running back was suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

Electing to play it safe, the Houston Texans chose not to risk anything with Foster, sending him to the bench after 10 carries in Sunday’s loss.

Without Foster the Texans' offense looked lost on Sunday, gaining just 187 total yards. Backup running back Ben Tate was unable to make an impact, finishing with 17 yards on four carries. Leading up to his exit, Arian Foster managed just 15 yards on 10 carries.

In a statement released from the Houston Texans’ PR department, Foster said that he was ‘okay’ and that his situation on Sunday was ‘minor’. As the regular season reaches its close, and the post-season begins, the Houston Texans will need their running back healthy.
