A 38-point second quarter and 32-point fourth quarter kept the New York Knicks perfect at home for the season and started a new winning streak. The Denver Nuggets got 23 points from Ty Lawson and 21 from Danilo Gallinari, but still fell 112-106 Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.

Carmelo Anthony was dominant for the Knicks with 34 points and six rebounds. Tyson Chandler added a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Jason Kidd ran the offense well with 17 points and seven assists for the Knicks as they held off a late rally despite a high-scoring fourth quarter.
Corey Brewer's 15 points off the bench for Denver kept the Nuggets in it, but New York outscored the Nuggets 32-22 in the final period to reverse and early four quarter deficit. The Knicks took the lead for good at 90-88 on a basket by Ronnie Brewer with just over eight minutes left and pulled away from there.
