The last team to score 1,000 runs in a season was the 1999 Cleveland Indians. They were the first team to reach four digits since 1950. The 1999 Cleveland Indians scored 1,009 runs with a 110 team OPS+. The 2011 Detroit Tigers scored 787 runs with a 110 team OPS+.
