Don’t feel bad if you didn’t know that “Pro Lacrosse Player” is a real thing, but it is, and this week some of them were partying a little too hard and got into a tussle at TGI Fridays.
Food Fight Turns Into A Fist Fight. With Pro Lacrosse Players. And Foot Locker Employees. At TGI Fridays.
From the Associated Press:
Five players from the Rochester Knighthawks have now been charged in connection with a brawl at a TGI Friday’s restaurant near the Mall of America involving more than two dozen people.
One witness told police the lacrosse players were throwing food and other items at each other. One of the Knighthawk reportedly players threw a menu and hit a nearby a Foot Locker employee who was sitting with other co-workers. Police say the Foot Locker employee who was hit confronted the lacrosse player and the fight started after that.
Stories like this are what makes the internet great. You can read more here.
For what it’s worth, the team’s already issued an apology that, sadly, did not read: “Sorry For Partying -- #LAX4LYFE”. No word on whether the other Foot Locker employees were trying to break it up, but yeah, let’s all keep our fingers crossed. Video of guys dressed in referee outfits mediating a brawl in a TGI Fridays is probably the only way this story could get better.
