The Birmingham News’ Jon Solomon reports that SEC athletic directors will meet in Nashville tomorrow to discuss scheduling for football and other events (but mostly football). Most ADs appear to be in favor of a) discussing a potential nine-game schedule (which makes scheduling and rotations infinitely easier), and b) going ahead and staying at eight. Mississippi State AD Scott Stricklin gets two points for honesty:

↵While nine games would be easier from a logistics perspective, and it would mean that everybody can play everybody within six years, there are certainly plenty of reasons for staying at eight. If that is the case, may I make a recommendation?
