January is the worst month of the year. Outside of the NFL playoffs and Martin Luther King, January has never given us anything of value. The reason the Animated GIFs of January have been delayed until February 9th is that we’ve been occupied with Super Bowl happenings, but the real reason is that I’ve been loathe to revisit that miserable excuse for a month.
The Animated GIFs Of January, And The Wikipedia Edits They Necessitated
In January, we witnessed a terrifying snowmobile bail-out, an abundant sample of Manningface, and the most perfect touchback of all time. Here, we witness these moments in GIF form and see them through the eyes of Wikipedia.


It did, at least, produce some great animated GIFs. This month’s theme is “GIFs and the Wikipedia edits they inspired.” As always, if you see a GIF you made that isn’t credited, please let me know (@jon_bois).
