Imagine this happening in, say, basketball. An NBA player will do a lot of things, but he will never, ever try to pass a ball and then just fall down. This really helps to underscore the irrefutable truth that baseball players are really bad at baseball.
Shane Victorino is a baseball player, so he’s bad. But he’s also Shane Victorino, which makes him really really bad.
