This occurred right as public annoyance over Brett Favre’s numerous retirements and subsequent un-retirements reached a fever pitch, and shortly after illicit photos of Brett Favre made their way around the Internet. And yet, he continued to soldier on. It seemed as though nothing could bring him down. Except for a DEFCON-1 dong shot.

I was captured just after a scuffle between LSU and West Virginia in which a referee was inadvertently struck. Sam Montgomery had to be ripped away by a teammate after giving an official a hug. And I know the official brushed it off, but I think he appreciated it. Players and coaches and fans are hugging each other all the time. The officials are basically the only people in the stadium who never get hugged. It’s bullshit.
