(6) Hey, everyone, it’s me, SHANE VICTORINO IS BAD.
In Round 1 I convincingly defeated SAD FAN/HAPPY FAN, 1,761 votes to 634. I am one of several Shane Victorino animated GIFs that would have been worthy of this tournament. I bet that at some point during his career, he did something not-terrible, but through the GIF lens it appears as though he’s someone’s stupid little brother who plays because someone’s mom says they have to include him.
(14) Oh, hello! It’s me, BORED EXTRA-INNINGS FAN.
I scored the first major upset of the Animated GIF Tournament, having soundly defeated INCENSED TRACY MCGRADY, 1,471 to 827. I eliminated a longtime favorite in the first round with my idle pointlessness and have thus become one of the heels of the tournament.
Sometimes, GIFs include Easter eggs that you don’t really notice until you’ve watched them a few times. Mine is the guy on the left at the very end, going bonkers over absolutely nothing for absolutely no reason.
