Fenway’s In For The Long Haul

Fenway Park has been added to the National Register of Historic Places.

↵This seems a bit of an upset, considering that all the way back in 2000 -- when I lived in Boston, and read the newspapers obsessively -- the Red Sox’ then-owners said that Fenway Park would literally collapse in a heap of concrete and steel within the next decade.

↵I’m sure they wouldn’t have lied, though.
