Some answers:
With 2 outs, runners in scoring position
Martinez: .263/.434/.410 (1175 plate appearances, 1987-2004)
Thomas:.291/.453/.565 (1191 plate appearances, 1990-2008)
Edge: Thomas
Boggs: .305/.457/.395 (1205 plate appearances, 1982-1999)
Gwynn: .321/.446/.465 (974 plate appearances, 1982-2001)
Edge: Gwynn
Mattingly: .282/.405/.424 (832 plate appearances, 1982-1995)
Clark: .290/.431/.477 (968 plate appearances, 1986-2000)
Edge: Clark
Molitor: .301/.401/.429 (1340 plate appearances, 1978-1998)
Brett: .290/.422/.464 (1361 plate appearances, 1973-1993)
Edge: Brett
So it’s not actually that easy. There are adjustments one has to keep in mind. Two outs with runners in scoring position isn’t necessarily a clutch situation. And the plate appearance sample sizes are limited, and might not be representative of true-talent skill. In conclusion, the miniature Ken Rosenthal talked to the miniature Chone Figgins, which is just the cutest.
