Vladimir Guerrero played in 2012 for the Baltimore Orioles, hitting .290/.317/.416 with 13 home runs. He turned 37 in February and was having difficulty finding a job for 2012; there were reports that he was considering playing in Japan and about two weeks ago, he worked out for the Cleveland Indians at their baseball academy in the Dominican Republic.

The former Angels and Expos star could not land a baseball job this past offseason. Now, he might be in trouble in his home country.


But no job offer surfaced, and the one-time All-Star apparently remained in the D.R., his home country.
A report from Dominican Today Tuesday morning indicates that Guerrero might be in some sort of trouble:
The National Police on Tuesday announced an all points bulleting for the arrest of Major League Baseball star Vladimir Guerrero, for the alleged aggression against to a Police major and for unleashing a brawl in a discotheque.These two tweets indicate this could be a serious matter:
There are unconfirmed reports of a person injured and several gunshots at the disco in which the incident between Vlad and police took place

All throughout the night, the Dominican National Police exhorted Vlad publicly to surrender himself to authorities.

Guerrero will be charged of physical and verbal assault to an authority. He is currently at a police precinct in Baní.
