Vin Scully hasn't missed a Dodgers home opener since 1977, but he's got a doctor's excuse for today's game:

↵↵Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully will miss the Dodgers’ home opener for the first time in 35 years because of a cold.↵↵In ‘77, Scully was preparing for a Masters telecast for CBS. Today, with Scully now 84 years old, we wish him good health and a quick return to the broadcast booth.
