↵In Santana’s first start this season, against the Braves, he generated 13 whiffs on 33 swings.

↵In Santana’s second start, Wednesday against the Nationals, he generated 14 whiffs on 37 swings.

↵That’s 61-percent contact, two games in. We won’t get ahead of ourselves, but the Mets must be encouraged.
