I appreciate what Jeffrey Loria’s trying to accomplish with Marlins Ballpark. It’s supposed to feel like Miami. And I think the Marlins’ new uniforms -- which Loria reportedly worked on for two years -- fit well into this scheme. But the M’s are too much, man.

↵The M on the cap is too large; that’s obvious to anyone with good (or corrected) vision. Even leaving that aside, though, when you can see three essentially identical M’s on one player at one glimpse, that’s just too many M’s. At the very least, the shoulder M has to go.
