VIDEO: Brian Stann Embodies The Marines’ Mental And Physical Fitness

Brian Stann is one of the most respected fighters in the UFC -- a fact that stems as much from his accomplishments outside the Octagon as his power inside it. Every profile hits the same refrain: Stann’s former Marine infantry officer who played linebacker at Navy and earned a Silver Star in Iraq, then began a career in mixed martial arts and founded a non-profit for veterans called Hire Heroes. (Most recently, Stann was lauded for stopping a fight he’d won before the referee intervened.)
In this Core of Sports video sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps and produced by SB Nation (watch below), Stann talks about the mental and physical fitness that has been the hallmark of his military and and fighting careers.
