In last Saturday's game between the Indians and the Royals, there were some extracurriculars, with two batters getting drilled, three people getting ejected, and the benches clearing on two separate occasions. It was a heated affair, and Jeanmar Gomez wound up getting suspended for his part in the proceedings.
Chris Perez Got Fined
And Chris Perez wound up drawing a fine. A very small fine. But a fine nonetheless, for a tweet he posted afterward. Perez seems to be taking it in stride.
