The Cardinals are playing the Pirates Friday night, and calling the game on TV from the Cardinals' end are Dan McLaughlin and Al Hrabosky, In the bottom of the first, McLaughlin and Hrabosky got to talking. I mean, they're always talking, because it's what they're supposed to do, but they got to talking about the Pirates, and Hrabosky didn't exactly hold back. Maybe this is par for the course for him, I don't know, but this isn't par for the course with most broadcasts.

Hrabosky: 19 consecutive years of losing baseball. We found out how they’re gonna cure it.
McLaughlin: Enlighten me.
Hrabosky: They fired their trainers and their strength and conditioning coach.
McLaughlin: So that’s how you do it, huh?
Hrabosky: Oh yeah, must be. Four years ago, they thought it was the equipment manager. Then they found out it wasn’t him, but it was the training staff. Heaven forbid you look at the players.
